As we approach the holiday season, it's time to prepare for two of the biggest shopping events of the year: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Let's walk through the process of submitting deals for these events, with some practical tips to boost your success.

Identifying Event Opportunities

  • Regularly check your Deals dashboard for "Upcoming Events."
  • Look specifically for Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the list of open events.

Ensuring ASIN Eligibility

To check if your ASIN is eligible for event consideration:

  • On the Deals dashboard, look for event options in the Date column dropdown.
  • When creating a new deal, check if your desired event appears in the Schedule options.
  • If you don't see the event available, your ASIN may not currently meet the criteria. Consider reviewing Amazon's eligibility requirements to make necessary adjustments.

Crafting Competitive Deals

While selection isn't guaranteed, you can improve your chances by:

  • Choosing products with high customer appeal.
  • Ensuring substantial inventory availability.
  • Offering a compelling discount that stands out in a crowded marketplace.

Deals with large quantities and inventories may also have an advantage in being selected!

Understanding Event Fees

  • Be aware that fees may be higher during high-traffic periods like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
  • The specific fee will be displayed when you select the Schedule while creating your deal.
  • Factor these potential higher fees into your pricing strategy to maintain profitability.

  • Regularly monitor and update your deals to maintain "Upcoming" status.

Feedback on Compliance review Issues

I have been actively preparing my documents since I received the need to submit compliance documents, but I have not received a response since I submitted them. This has had a significant impact on my product sales. Is it reasonable that the compliance audit team should actively help sellers to deal with this kind of problem, instead of not reviewing them all the time?

Abnormal amount of FBM Pending Orders

I sell a product that is FBM and in the past couple days I have had around 10 orders that say pending for over a day or two. I have never had this issue before. The orders are very ordinary, less than $15 each but still are not being moved to unshipped. All of a sudden, I had a bunch of them and can't figure out why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a brand registered in Brand Registry, and the associated category was approved for GTIN exemption (I have case# ) in January 2024. However, when I attempt to create a listing (Add a Product) today, the system still prompts me to provide a GTIN.

Could you please advise on the next steps? Should I file a case with customer support to resolve this issue?

Another day, another Amazon disaster. I guess pointy scissors jewelry is all the rage now for kindergarteners since my jewelry for ADULT WOMEN hairdressers has been removed and flagged as "children's jewelry."

What's next? Will they start flagging wine glasses as children's products???

Lifetime ad spend per SKU

How can I see my lifetime ad spend on the SKU/ASIN level? Reporting only goes back 90 days and I've been a seller for a few years.

It used to be available on the 'SKU economics' page but entering custom dates doesn't always work as 'Sponsored Ads' sometimes just doesnt appear in the economics breakdown.

This seems like something that would be quite simple but I don't think it's possible.

Please help.

Estimated Delivery Times Completely Wrong

I just had to pause thousands of dollars in ad spend a day because my shipping times show delivery in 2-3 weeks which doesn't make any sense. We offer 1-day, 2-day and 3 to 5 day free shipping. This is clearly a bug but my sales have drastically dropped so had to pause ALL ad spend.

Any ideas how to fix this?! We've tried everything! We are merchant fulfilled as it's personalized products!

Inbound Shipment Lost. 2 Months and No Updates!

Hello,

Our inbound shipment FBA18GCDN3C1 has been stuck in "In Transit" for two months. Despite multiple messages to Seller Support, no resolution or meaningful updates have been provided.

The shipment page states:

If the shipment has not arrived at an Amazon Fulfillment Center by January 27, 2025, then your shipment will be eligible for investigation.

Waiting four months for an investigation seems unreasonable. Has anyone dealt with similar delays? Is there a way to escalate this?

Amazon team, your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have customers who requested a return from last year and never returned the item. Just how long does a customer have to actually return an item once requested, or is the return label considered the same as a forever stamp?

Our properly configured variations have been unjustly removed dozens of times by Amazon insiders, seemingly in collusion with third-party competitors, and this practice continues unabated!

Our product variations, which are fully compliant with Amazon's policies, have been repeatedly and maliciously split by an internal Amazon tool, causing incalculable damage to our business. This is not just an isolated case – other sellers I know are facing the same problem.

We have 6 variations for our products, all identical in appearance and function, with the only difference being color. This follows Amazon's variation policy to the letter. However, despite our efforts to recreate the correct variant relationships, our best-selling child ASINs have been continually split from the parent ASINs. This has happened multiple times in the past 3 days, and each time we fix it, we separate again within a short time, creating an endless cycle.

This issue is not only costing us time and money, but we also haven’t received any performance notifications from Amazon when these variations are removed. It feels like there is a deliberate attempt to disrupt our listings. It seems suspicious that internal Amazon tools are being used to repeatedly break our correct variants, and we suspect that certain Amazon employees may be working with competitors to profit from these disruptions.

We are not alone in facing this issue. Other sellers I know have experienced similar problems, which leads me to believe this could be part of a broader issue within Amazon's system. If left unchecked, this could severely damage Amazon’s reputation and trust with sellers.

I hope Amazon will contact us as soon as possible in order to investigate this case.

Hi!

I hope someone can help me.

We have launched an under-desk treadmill that doesn't require a battery to be powered. However, the wireless remote control does have a button cell battery. Prio to launching I have submited a battery-exemption sheet, which I got confirmation from SS that no other action is needed on my end.

Then, after the launch and we enrolled our product to Vine, our listing got suspended due to consumer compliance.

I submitted multiple photos, a test report, and GCC to support our claim that our under-desk treadmill is compliant.

Even then, our listing remained inactive and now we think that the 60 units we enrolled in Vine, we'll no longer be able to get their reviews.

I've opened the following case IDs, and until now, one of the two ASINs remains under review.
